Joseph Altuzarra resort collection is winner no doubt and so is he. Earlier this month he took home the CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year, just two years after receiving the Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent. Altuzarra entered the mainstream fashion world just 5 years ago, and he is quickly becoming one of fashions big guns. The young designer, at age 30 is smart and methodical, creating this collection after Querelle, the Rainer Werner Fassbinder film. The collection no doubt has a maritime theme, including a three-quarter-length peacoat with contrast piping and linings and a detachable collar. It also includes sailor pants and tops. But the best piece of all is a tailored white pantsuit with an asymmetric shawl collar.
