CRAVING

It's easy to say that I'm not craving much, but I have been doing a bit of shoe obesessing.  I think it has a lot to do with being on a shopping hiatus, (which I applied to clothes only) but no longer as of tomorrow. My shopping spree will begin again, well not really a spree, because being on a shopping freeze, definitely helped me to reevaluate what I really need versus want.  Sometimes I find myself spending unnecessary, you know, buying a bunch of bullshit. But this last month gave me a chance to reevaluate my approach to buying. From now on, especially when it's a splurge item, I will ask myself the following questions:
1. How much wear will I get? Does the price justify the usage?
2. Is it really my style or is it just a trendy piece?
3. How many things will it go with already in my closet?
The last question leads me back to my first statement, that I'm craving a hell of a lot of shoes.  I know that over the years, shoes are the things that I never grow tired of. I love shopping for shoes. I like trying them on. Heck, I even make special trips to Nordstroms just to shop the shoe department. I'm a shoe addict. And being a shoe addict is not a problem, at least for me, because I get plenty of use from them. What are your thoughts, are you a shoe addict shopper?
