How To Achieve Glowing Skin
With the temperatures at an all time low, we are all seeking moist dewy skin. I’m sharing what we all can do to get that winter glow. All it takes are a few face preparation steps, glasses of water and consistency.
FIRST THINGS FIRST, a clean face.
You always want to make sure to clean your face day and night. Leaving your face with makeup and daily grime on is a huge no no. It clogs pores and contributes to dull skin. To clean your face, I recommend wiping away makeup with these Ole Henriksen The Clean Truth™ Cleansing Cloths: Brightening. My skin always feel so supple after, because it contains Vitamin C. Follow that with a cotton ball filled with Garnier
SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water. It removes any remaining makeup and dirt.
Once a week, I recommend doing a deep cleansing, i.e. scrub. I love this Ole Henriksen Moment of Truth 2-in-1 Polishing Sugar Mask, made up of raw sugar and pomegranate seed powder, pure honey, rosehip oil, and pumpkin extract. It scrubs away my dead skin cells and leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and with a natural glow.
AFTER THE CLEANING IS THE AFTER PARTY, moisture and glow.
Once you have cleaned your face, you’ll want to add a serum, a moisturizer and an face oil. You can also use an eye cream if you chose, I only add this in the morning, not typically at night. For face serum, I love, love this one from Ole Henriksen. Just like it’s Sugar Mask, it contains Vitamin C and collagen for brightening and all-day hydration, plus it’s anti-aging. After the serum I like to moisturize with this L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Bright Reveal Brightening Day Moisturizer with SPF 30, it helps visibly correct the look of dull, uneven tone, lines and wrinkles, plus it’s relatively inexpensive, only $9.99! For the finishing touch, I’m currently using this face oil from blogger babe Farrah Pink. I also love this face oil from Korres, and plan to try this nourishing face oil next.
And don’t forget to eat well and drink plenty (8-10 glasses) of water.
