Super Juice Favorites

If you follow my Instagram, then you know that I've been enjoying my super juices lately.  I drink about three a week.  About a month ago I picked up this book from my local bookstore.  And immediately started reading it.  I even ordered a juicer but turned out I didn't like it because it was too much clean up for my lifestyle.  So, I just use my Ninja blender for now.  Anyway, I'm loving the recipes, they're easy and delicious.  Here are a few of my favorites from the book.  Want to juice?  Try them and let me know what you think?

Watermelon Goji 
3 Cups seedless watermelon, rind removed
1 handful fresh basil
2 tablespoons goji berries

Juice watermelon and basil.  Add goji berries, let steep for 15 minutes.*  And enjoy. 
*If you like your goji berries blended, then feel free to blend with watermelon and basil in blender.
Makes 16 ounces

Green Apple Kale
2 large green apples, like Granny Smith cored
1 cucumber, I like Persian cucumbers best
2 celery stalks
4 large kale leaves
1/4 teaspoon spirulina powder

Juice all ingredients, except spirulina powder.  Add spirulina powder after all other ingredients are blended and mix with a spoon until fully incorporated. 
Makes 18 ounces. 

Pomegranate Chia Fresca
16 ounces of pomegranate juice
1/4 cup of chia seeds

In a shaker cup or sealable jar, combine the pomegranate juice and chia seeds.  Shake vigorously.  Let stand for 15-20 minutes, then shake it once more and serve over ice. 
Makes 16 ounces
