Happy New Year!  Welcome to 2018!
It feels good to be back, I'm praying (and planning) that this year will be full of awesome content and a little bit more.  I intend to bring you useful and fun content.  But in order to be successful, I need your help.  Please share, what is it that you want to see? What posts do you like best?  Do you want more beauty? Fashion? Interiors, Recipes?  Or are you happy with how it is around these parts?  I have BIG goals this year, so it's going to be a busy year and an exciting one.  The first post, albeit late, are a few of the goals I have for this year.  Remember, when I shared with you my favorite stationary and planners, well, the purpose in owning a planner, is to plan your days, months and years, which I have done and wanted to share with you today.

Milestones
Style Fragment turns 10 in July.  I will be spending my last year in my 30's, yes, I turn 39 this year, May 30th to be specific.  I know, I know, we're just on Day 2 of the year but did you see how fast 2017 came and went?

As we closed in on 2017, I spent more time thinking about what are the things that I enjoy most, what matters most to me.  What habits could I change to make this year far more superior than the last?  Here is what I came up with, maybe some of these goals will be of inspiration to you.

Focus on the authentic you
When it comes to the daily me, I'm definitely myself.  Honest, organized and hard working.  However, when it comes to Style Fragment I face challenges on being my authentic self.  With so many blogs nowadays, I struggle with cool and unique content.  Or posting content that may offend.  Ultimately, I just want to keep it real, while still retaining some privacy.

Want vs. Reward
I wouldn't say that I'm a big spender.  However, this year my goal is a bit more minimalist versus overly abundant when it comes to clothes, shoes, and beauty.  My goal is to buy what I need.  And reward myself with my wants.  I plan to reward myself with things, as I accomplish goals, versus just walking in the store saying oh, I want that, let me get it.

Volunteer More
I volunteer every year, however, I want to give more of my time this year.  I like being able to go and make meals, run marathons to benefit cancer research and survivors.  It's great!  But there's always more time to get involved and give back.  Take the time to give back, trust me it's highly rewarding.

Get fit. And STAY fit.
What I realized in 2017, is that I enjoy working out.  I especially like group fitness, like cycling and yoga.  The issue is that paying for cycling classes puts a huge dent in my wallet, costing over $2,400 a year.  So, I debate if I should keep paying for this every year (I've been cycling since 2014) or just invest in a bike and go outside, alone and ride.  For now, I'm going to get fit by doing P90x, which I did in years past.  It's a great way to jumpstart my fitness after a month hiatus.  Next, I need to plan out more workouts, this way I stay consistent throughout 2018.  No more yo-yo workouts.

Read. No really read.
Last year was a complete joke, I did not read many books at all.  I read mostly blogs and magazines.  And I want to be better.  This year, I want to read books.  I want to disconnect from television and do more reading. I'm going to start with a career driven book, Versatile Selling.  Followed by a leisure read, The Girl on the Train.  Any more recommendations for me?

Travel
This is one of my goals every year, mainly because I love exploring.  This year, I would like to take a handful of domestic trips and an international trip.  I plan to go back to Europe and country hop, and possibly visit the Maldives.

Let's go. Happy 2018 my friends!
