It's that time of year again, when all Houstonians head to various restaurants around town, many of them we have possibly never experienced. This is where Houston Restaurant Week (HRW) comes in, it's a month long event in which the goal is provide locals (and visitors) an opportunity to try new plates of deliciousness. More importantly to go out, dine and know that a portion of what we spend will benefit Houston Food Bank.
Houston Restaurant Week starts today and ends September 4th, 2017. And if you're curious what places you should try, here are the places I recommend (last year recommendations):
Brennan's of Houston - Southern Eats, reminiscence of New Orleans!
The Grove - Vegan eats.
Brasserie du Parc - a la French! We, we!
Cafe Annie - Southwestern eats and be seen crowd.
Tony's - Italian. All Houston professionals eat here. Complete a few deals while you dine.
The Grove - Perfect for Downtowners!
Bayou City Seafood & Pasta - A favorite! Try the Snapper Ponchartrain and Bread Pudding
Crisp - Go for the patio! And wine.
Grace's - another favorite! Try the gumbo and stuffed pork chop.
True Food Kitchen -Delicious healthy eats! Also, the best Hangover Rx drink, ever!
Peli Peli - Go hear if you can't decide. Fusion eats at it's best!
