Last Friday & Maybe Tonight
Last Friday, I went to Chuy's (a local Tex-Mex restaurant) and had the Frozen Watermelon Margarita. It was ah-mazing! Everything I needed to start my weekend, so I thought I would share a similar recipe with you this Friday.
Ingredients | Makes 4:
2 1/2 cups seedless watermelon
1/4 cup Lime juice
1/4 cup Orange juice
1 1/2 cups ice
3/4 cup white tequila, I like Patron or Don Julio
1. Freeze the watermelon chunks for at least 2 hours
2. Combine all the ingredients in a high powered blender and pulse until fully combined and smooth. Add more ice if needed to get the consistency you like.
3. Pour into salt or sugar rimmed glasses and garnish with a lime wedge.
