Hello, You and J. Crew
It's been nearly three weeks since I last blog posted. Honestly, I miss you guys but sometimes we need to focus our energy on other things. And with that I want you to know that I will not have daily post. I will post when I have the energy, desire and content. Speaking of content, there's nothing of major announcement here so you actually may find today's topic/content a tad boring. But I felt this urge to share with you my top picks from the recent J.Crew collection, starting with this a-line postcard print skirt. I'm obsessed! It reminds me of a skirt my mother had in the late 80's/early 90's. In fact, I remember my mother wearing it on a flight to West Palm Beach Florida to visit my Aunt Joyce (whom I'm named after by the way). Right when my mother feet touched the tarmac of the airport, my Aunt snapped a photo of the Florida winds blowing this colorful miamiesque skirt. She had paired it with a turquoise silk cami, similar to this Carrie cami. It amazes me how fashion repeats itself. Now, only if my mother had saved that skirt, I wouldn't have this urge to purchase this one.

PS, Another nostalgic moment is the scene of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman trying to stomp the divots in that polka dot dress. Well, here is a polka dot dress from the collection that you absolutely must have. Think of it is the upgraded version. Now, off you go to find you an Edward Lewis.
